UNIVERSAL TEFLON SEALANT SILICON TAPE FOR HYDRAULIC FITTINGS

Replaces pastes, hemp, PTFE tapes and anaerobic sealants. Thermally stabilized synthetic fiber tape impregnated with a special non-hardening mastic. The tape's function is to seal threaded hydraulic fittings of any diameter and material, with common gases, as well as with drinking and heating water. It does not alter the odor, taste, or purity of the water. It is a dynamic sealant as it adapts to all threads and all materials. Suitable for conical and parallel threads. SST is clean and leaves no traces on the hands, it is economical and easy and quick to apply. It allows repositioning of fittings and disassembly years later. It withstands the vibrations typical of joints, near pumps. SST complies with the technical specifications according to UNI EN 751/2 Cl. ARp, and is WRAS BS6920 and DVGW certified.
